# Certificate Validation Guide

The validation page allows users to check a certificate ID.

## How it works in Ultimate
The page checks against:
1. built-in demo validation records
2. locally saved certificate records created from the certificate page in the same browser

## Important note
Because the free static model avoids a mandatory central backend, validation in this edition is browser-aware unless you later connect it to a shared backend store.

## Why it still matters
Even in demo or pilot mode, a validation page adds structure and credibility.
